Telstra Health’s Resident Manager software has been honoured as a Merit recipient in the Business Service Markets category at the National iAwards.
Taking place in Melbourne on Thursday 29th of August, the Australian Information Industry Association’s (AIIA) iAwards honours organisations at the cutting edge of technology innovation and recognises the achievements of home-grown Australian innovators.
Resident Manager was nominated alongside the other state category winners, after receiving the Victorian Business Service Markets iAward in May.
Industry recognition
Michael Donnelly, Telstra Health’s Head of Aged and Disability, attended the National iAwards Ceremony, and commented that he was proud of Telstra Health’s positive contributions to the aged care sector.
“To receive a Merit award is great recognition of the hard work and innovation that has gone into creating Resident Manager.”
“With the software in place, our clients are benefiting from a reduction in administrative functions, streamlined Medicare claiming, and a simplified resident management process.”
“Being honoured at the National iAwards is a fantastic achievement, and I’d like to thank the aged care providers who have partnered with us for their continued support and championing of Resident Manager”, said Michael.

Meeting the needs of providers
Resident Manager software helps residential aged care providers manage their resident administration, Medicare claiming, and reporting processes. The solution helps to create efficiencies, more easily manage resident admission and leave, and minimise Medicare rejections caused by inaccurate data.
There have been some recent exciting developments for Resident Manager, with the ability to book facility tours and transfer leads and residents between facilities. Functionality for Independent Living Units is in the final stages of development and will be available in the coming months.
