Telstra Health is dedicated to supporting the aged care sector. That’s why we have made a submission to the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety.
We have worked closely with aged care providers for more than 15 years and are the principal supplier of clinical and medication software to the residential aged care sector. Our experience in the community aged care and residential aged care sectors provides Telstra Health with insights and a thorough understanding of the role of digital technology in addressing safety and quality issues and improving resident and client care.
Our experience and what we hear from our clients is that investment in technology is a key strategic opportunity that helps support aged care providers to deliver sustainable, innovative, person centred care.
Our submission details Telstra Health’s experience specifically in the residential aged care sector, and how residential aged care providers are utilising modern, well designed, person-centred technology to support the following areas:
We are committed to investing further in technology to support aged care providers into the future. This commitment extends to enhancing our software solutions further to be hyper-intuitive and simple to use, to help reduce the time spent on administration so more time can be spent caring for residents. We are also excited to embrace opportunities to use data to support better delivery of care, such as our new research project aiming to predict health deterioration in aged care residents through the analysis of clinical data.
Telstra Health is grateful for the opportunity to draw on our industry knowledge to make a submission to the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety.
