Chris joined Telstra Health in 2019 and is the Head of Hospitals and Connected Health. In this role he leads teams that drive a clear, executable strategy, engage and understand customers problems, and provide advice and solutions which make a difference for the industry, the customer and their clients.
Chris is a senior healthcare executive who has 20+ years’ experience in the health, pharmaceuticals and life sciences industry across Asia Pacific. Chris’ career has involved working in front line health care delivery through to Executive Management positions, as well as senior positions with PwC's Health Advisory practice in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia and now as Head of Hospitals and Connected Health for Telstra Health.
Combining firsthand industry knowledge and extensive experience across strategy, planning, development and execution of digital health solutions, Chris is the Telstra Health Executive accountable for leading the the Hospitals and Connected Health portfolio. This comprises the Hospitals, Community Health and Virtual Care businesses with a focus on the strategic, product, technology, people and financial outcomes.
Chris helps teams to discover, define, and solve their most complex challenges and barriers to efficient and effective healthcare delivery enabled through digital healthcare. Chris specialises in strategy, digital healthcare, health economics, productivity and efficiency and clinical service redesign. Having led teams to implement large scale transformation programs, in particular digital health programs, Chris brings extensive experience and learning from across the health sector to his clients.
