In line with the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) legislation changes to introduce Active Ingredient Prescribing from 1 February 2021, Telstra Health has updated Communicare V19.2 (and any later versions) to deliver the mandatory compliance for PBS and Repatriation PBS (RPBS) prescriptions to include active ingredients.

If you are an existing Communicare user and using Communicare to write PBS or RPBS prescriptions, you will need to upgrade your software. If you haven’t already scheduled an upgrade please do so as soon as possible by logging a request.
