We are writing to inform you of some important updates regarding your Argus subscription. Following the sale of secure messaging business assets, including Argus and ArgusWord from Telstra Health to HealthLink 12 months ago, there will be changes to the service provision for Argus users. As part of this transition, Argus assets will reach their End Of Life (EOL) on 31 March 2025 

HealthLink are in the process of bringing together Argus users into the extensive HealthLink national network. HealthLink remains dedicated to delivering a premium solution while ensuring value for money, along with safety and security you have come to trust across both the Argus and HealthLink networks. 

Following your transition to HealthLink messaging, your subscription will continue to provide top-tier services, such as:  

  • Provider Directory Access 
  • SmartForms Referral Access* 
  • HealthLink Portal (Argus Word customers will transition to) 
  • Specialist Referrals to private specialists 
  • Helpdesk phone and email support  
  • Software and security updates  

*Available to those who use the following compatible PMS solutions: Best Practice Premier and Allied, Medical Director Clinical and Helix, ZedMed, Genie, Shexie, Communicare or Stat Health 

If you’re a subscription customer, the below applies to you:
From early February 2025, you will receive an email notification from HealthLink when your subscription is due for renewal, with detailed instructions on how to renew your subscription through the HealthLink Payment Portal. This portal will provide you with full access to manage your payments and renewals moving forward. As part of this transition, HealthLink will provide guidance and support to ensure a smooth process for migrating to HealthLink messaging before the Argus EOL, including more instructions.
If your subscription is due for renewal before February 2025, please login into the Telstra Health Customer Portal for processing and payments. If your renewal is after 31 March 2025 and you already have a HealthLink account, action is only required once you receive your subscription renewal notice. For those who don’t have a HealthLink account, you can apply here; fill in the form, and HealthLink will honour your existing Argus subscription and will transition it to a HealthLink subscription at the time of renewal.
Important note when applying for HealthLink: Select Receive Correspondence and SmartForm eReferrals only and provide Argus ID and Argus support email in comments and additional information.

 

If you’re an enterprise customer or sponsored user, the below applies to you:
A HealthLink account manager will be in touch to provide you with guidance and support during this transition to ensure a smooth process. You can expect the same or similar service outcomes that are currently in place. 

If you have not migrated your services before the Argus EOL date of 31 March 2025, your access to Argus may be disconnected. To ensure uninterrupted access to all essential services, we encourage you to take action by following instructions you’ve received from HealthLink as soon as possible.
